Wellbeing & Support

At Enigma Industrial Services, we understand that employee well-being is paramount by fully supporting individuals throughout the organisation. Our internal mental health awareness initiative supports employees with identifying problems and assists them with seeking professional help. Additionally, throughout the organisation, we have trained mental health first aiders, published information literature and produced video guides to support colleagues who may be struggling with their mental health.

Wellbeing

We recognise that the health and wellbeing of all our employees is critical to the long-term success of our business; and given the challenging environments in which we work, it’s simply the right thing to do, including offering when required the following:
  • Fit for Work Assessments.
  • Working at heigh assessments.
  • With cause medicals, Mental health or Muscular Skeletal
  • Pre & Post employment medicals.
  • One-to-one consultations with our appointed doctors or occupational health professionals.
  • Mental Health first aiders including trained supervisors & Managers.
  • Employee Assistance Programmes including counselling services.
  • Exposure monitoring programmes.
  • Mental Health information and confidential call centre.
  • Drug & Alcohol Services.
  • General Counselling.
  • Asbestos, Nuclear, Lead & HAVs assessments.
  • Continuous training and development.
  • Audiometry Assessments.
  • Night worker Assessments.

Successes Include:

  • In partnership with DWP during 2021/22, we ran our own government Kickstart Scheme, and created 38 new job placements for 16- to 24-year-olds who are on Universal Credit and at risk of long-term unemployment. At the end of the program seven outstanding people were offered fulltime positions with Enigma-IS.

  • We have created 72 new job placements for apprenticeships across a range of trade and professional disciplines, with a 2022 goal to be at 100 by the end of 2022.

  • Support local charities for example raised and donated £20,000.00 to Combat Stress on completion of a Lands End to John O’Groats charity ride.

  • Enigma-IS are proud to have been awarded the Military Covenant in recognition of the work we do with the Military and the ex-military recruitment services.

  • We continue to support careers fairs working with our clients around the UK, NASAC, BFRSS and others, seeing over 2500 people at our events.

  • We have begun working with the prison services to enable ex-offenders to be re-trained under their ‘Returning Citizens’ program.

  • We also support a number of local community sports teams.
