A Persimmon Homes development comprising of apartments and homes is part of a major new waterside regeneration project at Quay’s Barry Waterfront. The development includes the building of a collection of 1 & 2 bedroom apartments and 2, 3 & 4 bedroom homes. With access to existing road and rail links it provides the new residents with easy access to Barry Town Centre, Penarth and Cardiff.

The project scope involved providing access to allow the apartments and homes to be built. Enigma Industrial Services provided internal & external scaffold for the buildings, loading bays, birdcages, and staircases to accommodate timber frames.

Due to the impact of the site closing by following government guidance during the COVID-19 pandemic. Enigma was required to respond quickly to the clients fluctuating time-line with project deadlines once the site reopened.

However, with our extensive experience working on these type of specific housing developments, we continually met the client’s requirements with no impact on the programme.
